Why suggested for a Global Red List Assessment?
This mushroom was also collected in the foot of Mt. Pulag in Kabayan, Province of Benguet in the Philippines. It has not be collected in the other parts of the country and has zero occurrence in GBIF.
Geographic range
It was first reported in Peninsular India in 2018 and no other report was published since, then it was collected in Northern part of the Philippines in 2019 and no other report on the other parts of the country. There is a possibility that it is similar in a reported Crepidotus sp. (AF205684) from Thailand which has 99% sequence identity with zero e-value.
Population and Trends
Population Trend: Uncertain
Habitat and Ecology
Found in a decaying wood that is moist. Elevation is 2200 masl in a low land pine forest.
Threats
Human intervention, the community are starting to plant agricultural crops in the foot of the forest, they also cut and collect trees from the forest.
