Taxonomic notes

A recently decribed species from the Mediterranean area (Europe). Closely related and morphologically reminding of G. pectinatum of central and northern Europe.


Why suggested for a Global Red List Assessment?

Species of Mediterranean forest and shrubland, also in urban parks.  Recorded in Spain and Portugal (incl. Canary Islands and Mallorca)
