Assessment Notes

Justification

This species is known from only a single collection, made in Brazil, Amazonas, Manaus, Ramal Pau Rosa in March of 2007. This specimen constitutes this species’ type, and is currently preserved by JPB - Herbário Lauro Pires Xavier. There appears to be a deficiency in information regarding the potential threats to this species, as well as its habitat preferences and geographic distribution, and as such, until further research is carried out to address these deficiencies, it remains difficult to assess the current population trends of this species. It is therefore listed as DD until new information relevant to this assessment arises.
