Why suggested for a Global Red List Assessment?

The former Red data listed Entoloma bloxamii has been found to be at least seven species of which this is one. Though it may be one of the more common species within the group found in the U.K it is likely the U.K may be a global stronghold for this species where it’s habitat of unimproved grassland grazed or mowed has an increased threat due to changes in land management, tree planting and the often mistaken belief that leaving grass to grow long and wild is good for all species.
If a species is rare then found to be not one but seven species then each is less common in theory even if the original species E. bloxamii is found to be more common than previously thought. Some of these species are known to share the same locations, the threats to survival and reproduction in an ever decreasing and fragmented habitat are greater.
