There appear to be records of this species from Gyeongsangbuk-do, Gangwon-do and Jeju, Republic of Korea (https://species.nibr.go.kr/species/speciesDetail.do?ktsn=120000012707#;).
There is no quantitative information regarding the population size and trend of this species. However, based on the collecting localities in north-western Republic of Korea, and the large amount of suitable habitat in that region the population size is suspected to not be small.

It is assumed to be found in temperate forest/woodland as the type specimen was collected from a fallen branch from a deciduous tree (Lee et al. 2008).
There is no information regarding use/trade of this species.
