This is species is known in six countries. In Brazil, five occurrences to this species are known, located in Southeast and Northeast of Brazil according to GBIF database.
There are 214 records in GBIF database, distributed in Costa Rica (18 records), Brazil (5 records), Colombia (3 records), and the other occurrences are distributed in small percentages.

This species is related to Tropical areas. In Brazil, this species can be found at the Atlantic Rainforest in Northeast and Southeast of Brazil. Importante to highlight that there’s a years gap between the records.
In Brazil, this species is founded in Atlantic Amazon Rainforest that is a biomes that still suffer anthropic actions in special wildfire, natural and criminal caused, and area suppression.
In Brazil, the records are related to preserved areas, but unfortunately, those spaces still being affected by negatives influences. So, formal education to the population that lives near those areas and the park managers can start to change the situation.
Actions that are orientated to taxonomy and exploration to new sites need to be stimulated until a better understanding of this species status.
