Why suggested for a Global Red List Assessment?

Through my explorations from 2021 to 2023 as a result of my research for a doctoral thesis, throughout several reserves and national parks in Chile, I have only found Usnea rubicunda in a sector of the South Center, which is evidence of its scarce distribution geographic at least for the southern center of Chile. For South America it is only registered in four of the thirteen countries in South America: Peru, Chile, Colombia, representing 30% of geographical distribution in the southern cone.
