This species is known by its creamy white, pale grey or greenish grey thallus, surface matt and farinose powder, sessile and whitish lirellae, ascospores hyaline and muriform, 110–230 × 35–80 μm (Kalb et al., 2004, Caceres, 2007). This species was combined by Kalb et al. (2004) while the type material (Graphis reniformis Fée 1825) was under investigations.
