Idriella acerosa R.F. Castañeda & W.B. Kendr. present conidiophores macronematous, unbranched, erect, straight 4-6 septate brown, apex hyaline, conidiogenous cells sympodial terminal diminutively denticles in the conidia and conidia lunates, tapered at the ends non-septate, dry, smooth, hyaline (Castañeda-Ruiz; Kendrick, 1991).
The study of conidial fungi in various regions of the country and in other continents can help to expand the knowledge of the diversity of these fungi, especially for those rare species, in order to find conservation measures for these microorganisms.
