Why suggested for a Global Red List Assessment?

Although small and inconspiquous this species is the more commin in the genus. It also has a wide distribution. Concentration of findings in western Europe.

Population is supposedly stable.

Canada (British Columbia), Greenland, Iceland, western Europe, Australia. It reaches northernmost Scandinavia. eDNA data from central Russia.

On decaying plant debris, culms of Juncus, and Cyperacae decaying leaf litter, rotting wood, rabbit droppings. Temperate zone; in the subarctic zone found on decaying driftwood on sandy beaches (Iceland)
