Why suggested for a Global Red List Assessment?

Considered a very rare species in Europe (Łuszczyński, 2008), probably significantly more common in Northern America. It grows mostly on decaying Abies wood in Europe and is threatened by habitat destruction (logging, replacement by Picea in cul­ti­vated forests).
