Why suggested for a Global Red List Assessment?

According to Mykologické listy, Praha, no. 120, 2012 the species is rare in Europe, redlisted in multiple countries. It should be distributed in Europe, North America, South America, and Asia. Book Mushrooms demystified (Arora, 1986) states it is fairly common in California. It would be good to check the trends of occurence both in Europe and in other continents and to check whether it can be confirmed that finds from different continents present the same species.
