It appears to be locally common on some sites but geographically rare across the Australia


Geographic range

Deflexula fasciularis was originally described (as Pterula) from Samoa. Corner (Monograph of Clavaria) reports the species from Samoa, Philippines and Singapore (“Bukit Timah Forest Reserve”, now Bukit Timah Nature Reserve).
