Justification
Since the description of Cantherellus graminum there do not appear to be any subsequent records of the species. There is limited information available from the species listing and with a lack of information on the habitat and ecology of the species, it is not possible to assess the status of its population or distribution. It is therefore assessed as Data Deficient.
Taxonomic notes
Cantharellus graminum was described by Josef Velenovský in 1947 in Novitates Mycologicae Novissimae and was listed in the Index of Fungi in 1954.
GBIF lists taxonomy as doubtful.
