Justification
Since the description of
Cantherellus graminum there do not appear to be any subsequent records of the species. There is limited information available and with a lack of information on the habitat and ecology of the species, it is not possible to assess the status of its population or distribution. It is therefore assessed as Data Deficient.
Taxonomic notes
This species is not cantharelloid, and is probably a small
Clitocybe (I. Olariaga Ibarguren
in litt. 2022).
Geographic range
The exact range of this species is unknown, having been described in 'Czechoslovakia' (Velenovský 1947).
