Justification
Cantharellus odoratissimus appears to only be known from the type specimen collected in what is assumed to be Obora Hvězda in Prague, Czechia. There is very little information regarding this species, and it is not possible to accurately apply the Red List categories and criteria at this time. Therefore, it is assessed as Data Deficient.
Geographic range
This species was originally collected from Hvězda (Velenovský 1920), which is assumed to refer to Obora Hvězda in Prague, Czechia.

There is no quantitative information regarding the population size and trend.
