Assessment Notes
Justification
Since the description of
Cantherellus inodorus there do not appear to be any subsequent records of the species. There is limited information available from and with a lack of information on the habitat and ecology of the species, it is not possible to assess the status of its population or distribution. It is therefore assessed as Data Deficient.
Taxonomic notes
It does not seem cantharelloid, and is probably a
Clitocybe (I. Olariaga Ibarguren
in litt. 2022).
Geographic range
The exact range of this species is unknown, having been described from the ground in 'Czechoslovakia' (see Petrak 1950).
Population and Trends
It is only known from the type description.
Population Trend: unknown
Habitat and Ecology
It has been described as 'on the ground' (see Petrak 1950), but the extent and type of habitat is unknown.
Threats
No threats can be documented due to the lack of information available on this species.
Conservation Actions
Confirmation is required of taxonomic status, population and distribution data and ecology to better assess this species.
