Assessment Notes

Justification

Since the description of Cantharellus gintlii there do not appear to be any subsequent records of the species. There is a lack of occurrence data and information on the habitat and ecology of the species, and it is not possible to assess the status of its population or distribution. It is therefore assessed as Data Deficient.

Taxonomic notes

Cantharellus gintlii was described by Josef Velenovský in 1920 in České Houby and was listed by Petrak in 1930.

GBIF lists taxonomy as doubtful.
