Justification
Since the description of
Cantherellus crassinervius there do not appear to be any subsequent records of the species. There is limited information available on this species and with a lack of information on the habitat and ecology of the species, it is not possible to assess the status of its population or distribution. It is therefore assessed as Data Deficient.
Geographic range
The exact range of this species is unknown, having been described from the ground in 'Czechoslovakia' (Velenovský 1939).
