Assessment Notes

The content on this page is fetched from The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species: https://www.iucnredlist.org/species/269709896/269709898

Justification

This species appears to have only been recorded from North Carolina, USA. There is very little data available regarding the ecology of the species and it is not possible to accurately assess the population size and trends, as well as the potential threats the species may face. With this high level of uncertainty, Cantharellus helotioides is assessed as Data Deficient.
