This species is found over a very broad area, and is common with multiple species of Nothofagaceae host trees. It is assessed as Least Concern.
Taxonomic notes
This individuals with this binomial are reported from South America and Australasia. However, individuals from New Zealand appear to not represent the same species as the type from South America (Peintner
et al. 2004) and so only the South American individuals are assessed here.
Geographic range
This species is found over a very broad area in Patagonia, common with multiple species of Nothofagaceae host trees.
