Taxonomic notes

It has an uncertain generic position, and is potentially not a Cantharellus, with it seemingly being an agaric (I. Olariaga Ibarguren pers. comm. 2022).

Cantharellus replexus var. devexus is treated as a separate species.

Geographic range

This species was described from Sweden and reported to have been collected from lawns around Femsjøen, Norway, with additional records from Scania and Uppsala, Sweden (Saccardo 1887). It has not been recorded since.
