Justification

There is very little informtion about this species, and its true distribution, population size and trend are all unknown. The generic position of the species is also uncertain. With such uncertainty it is not possible to accurately estimate its extinction risk. As such, Cantharellus replexus is assessed as Data Deficient.


Taxonomic notes

Uncertain generic positions, not a Cantharellus, it seemingly an agaric (I. Olariaga Ibarguren pers. com. 2022).

This species is described from Sweden and reported to have been collected from lawns around Femsjøen, Norway, with additional records from Scania and Uppsala, Sweden (Saccardo 1887).
