Assessment Notes
Justification
There is very little information available about this species, and its true distribution, population size and trend are all unknown. The generic position of the species is also uncertain. With such uncertainty it is not possible to accurately estimate its extinction risk. As such,
Cantharellus replexus is assessed as Data Deficient.
Taxonomic notes
It has an uncertain generic position, and is potentially not a
Cantharellus, with it seemingly being an agaric (I. Olariaga Ibarguren pers. comm. 2022).
Cantharellus replexus var.
