Assessment Notes
Justification
Rodwaya infundibuliformis is only known from the original description of its type specimen in 1888. Its taxonomic placement is also uncertain and further research is needed so it is assessed as Data Deficient (DD).
Taxonomic notes
Currently included in Species Fungorum (2023) as the only remaining species in the Rodwaya genus, with Merulius infundibuliformis, Campbellia infundibuliformis and Sesia infundibuliformis as its synonyms. The placement in this genus has been called into question due to nomenclature rules but the type specimen is in poor condition so new collections are needed for reevaluation. (Ginns, 1971)
