This species appears to only be known from the type, collected in the Bremgartenwald of Bern, Switzerland. With the paucity of information regarding this species it is not possible to accurately assess its status, and so it is assessed as Data Deficient.

The type of this species was collected in the Bremgartenwald of Bern, Switzerland (Saccardo and Sydow 1899).
