Taxonomic notes
The species has picnidial conidiomata, an ampuliform with a picnidal wall composed of thick cells. Presence of hyaline, sub cylindrical conidiogenic cells, alpha hyaline conidia, fusoid ellipsoidal and beta hyaline conidia, smooth, curved (Gomes et al., 2013).
Why suggested for a Global Red List Assessment?
It is a rare species, with only two occurrences in the world. More studies need to be done to learn more about its ecology and distribution, so I suggest including it in deficient data.
