Taxonomic notes
Colonies yellowish white to pale yellow, reverse colour brown to dark
brown, Hülle cells present, conidiophores biseriate with vesicles subglobose,
diminutive conidiophores present.

Due to the little information on the occurrence of this species, I suggest including it as insufficient data (DD).
Geographic range
The species is known in four countries, but GBIF shows only one.
Population and Trends
The species has been described in the last 10 years and does not seem to have a wide distribution yet. It occurs in four countries, with a greater concentration (75%) in the Americas (Brazil, Mexico and Thailand).

Habitat and Ecology
The ex-type strain, which was isolated from dust collected in Micronesia. In Brazil, the species is found in the Atlantic Forest as endophyte from leaves of Miconia sp. (Melastomataceae).
Threats
In general, the specie occurs in forest areas, some of which are threatened by deforestation and urbanization, such as the Atlantic Forest.
Conservation Actions
In Brazil this species is found in protected areas (conservation units). For the conservation of these fungi it is necessary to preserve the associated vegetation, seeking actions for better environmental conditions in these areas.
