Under chestnut and maritime pine in Mediterranean area, not very dense forest, in groups of numerous specimens arranged in semicircles or rows. In humid and warm years, from June to November.

Only two known stations in the world.
Presence of hunting, mushroom-seekers in the places of fructification.
