This species is characterized by its thin, flexible, silky, hairy, white or pale straw color, the basidioma with wide pores (2-3/mm), gray-brown or grayish areas, angular, more or less whole, the dssepiments tapering to the edge pale straw to pale ochraceous (Corner 1989; Gomes-Silva et al. 2010).
