rare species in Asian tropical rain forests. No reports in Gbif (1 as Trogia sylvestris) or iNaturalist.

on soil. Habitat in lowland and mountain forests growing on wood. In the GUNUNG HALIMUN NATIONAL PARK, where this Species grows, the vegetion is formed by trees of Fagaceae family (Castanopsis spp., Lithocarpus spp., and Quercus spp.)´Schima wallichii and Altingia excelsa
